OUR STORY

h

Known as the “Kitchen Lady” at the College of the Desert Street Fair in Palm Desert, CA, Barbara literally owns and sells a truckload of kitchen and household items ranging from a 50-cent orange peeler to a $68 “Vinturi” wine aerator. Even though it’s a weekend job, it is a demanding business that keeps her busy seven days a week.

The Kitchen Outlet has an inventory of 12,000 products selected from up to 340 vendors.

“I try to add something new each week,” Barbara says. She started over 15 years ago when looking for a business opportunity that allowed her to be home most of the time to raise her son. After attending a trade show for entrepreneurs she selected an opportunity selling kitchen gadgets and the rest is history.

This website is an extension of her business and allows her to reach out to the thousands of “snowbirds” who visit the Palm Springs area and stop by her booth to purchase one-of-a-kind collector items and gadgets that are not always available in their home towns.

The website is also a great avenue for people all over America to purchase hard to find unique items and popular kitchen utensils at great prices. Barbara takes great pride in finding new and interesting products that make great gifts or are useful in everyday kitchens.

As the primary source for the ever popular Feast From The East sesame salad dressings, wonton chips and chow mein noodles, The Kitchen Outlet ships all over the U.S.
